Job Description

The primary duties will include library research, manuscript preparation, and assisting the Project Director in his research, drafting, developing, and editing documents and projects parallel to themes and issues addressed in the primary manuscript, as well as other research projects, assisting in the administration of the McDonald Agape Fellowship in Bioethics and collaborating with other scholars to support these goals. The Research Assistant will actively engage with scholarship in philosophy, theology, and other related disciplines to support the mission of the Foundation and the work of the project director.

Job Requirements

Applicants must be a Georgetown University graduate student. The Research Assistant for the Kennedy Institute of Ethics will have experience performing the following tasks: Publication of papers: knowledge of manuscript submission processes; working with publishers; copy-editing manuscripts. Research: assistance in researching and writing on related topics; library and reference work; assistance with manuscript preparation and editing. Administration of grants. Undergraduate degree required; current pursuit of a graduate degree required.
