Important Dates:
  • 2/11/16 - Early Payroll Deadline for the 2/1-14/16 pay period. Paper timesheets should be completed and submitted to the SEO by 2/11/16 at 10am
  • 8/17/15 - First day for students to work with Federal Work Study for the Fall term.
  • 7/1/15 - Increased DC minimum wage of $10.50 per hour AND increased Maryland minimum wage of $8.25 takes effect

Off-campus employers interested in hiring Georgetown students can post job listings with our office through this site.

Our office posts only part-time positions that are paid hourly during the academic year, but both full-time and part-time during the summer.

  The Federal Work Study Program

Federal Work-Study (FWS) is a federally funded financial aid program that provides part-time employment opportunities for students with demonstrated financial need.

Information for Current Off-Campus FWS Employers: Organizations who have been approved as off-campus FWS employers for the current academic year can find hiring information, timesheets, and pay schedules here.

Becoming an Off-Campus FWS Employer: Non-profit off-campus organizations/agencies must be pre-approved by the Georgetown Student Employment Office to become an FWS employer. If your organization is interested in this process, more information can be found here.
